It takes a village…
One of the greatest parts of working at Richard P. Slaughter Associates, Inc. is the strong relationships we’ve built with a wonderful base of clients — a group of genuinely kind-hearted people whom we are proud to call clients and privileged to call friends. As evidence of this claim, many of you have reached out to us over the past several weeks to check on our well-being during this challenging time. We appreciate those calls and opportunities to exchange stories with you.
Like many companies, we transitioned our office to a work-from-home environment. Fortunately, several years of planning for such contingencies and preparing our staff with the ability to work remotely made the transition process fairly seamless. Our technology team did a terrific job of setting up resources that allowed us to effectively work from 15 different locations and still maintain a data-safe environment.
Part of our ability to make such a transition with virtually no hiccups is due to an amazing staff that has been selected both for their technical expertise as well as their fit within our culture of service. We take great pride in our team and our dedication to you. Occasionally, these efforts gain notice outside, as well, and we are very pleased to announce recent recognition from InvestmentNews. For the third consecutive year, the publication has named us a Best Place to Work for Financial Advisors, recognition bestowed upon just 75 firms across the country. This year, we have been honored as the No. 2 company in the nation in the small employer category (firms with 15-29 employees). To learn more about this honor, we invite you to read this release posted on our website.
